Here I am, not able to get my mind off of an impending game. Avowed. I’ve had five long years of anticipation! I don’t have too much longer to wait. Avowed releases February 18… A day can’t come soon enough. The studio behind, Obsidian Entertainment, has released fantastic games like Fallout: New Vegas, Pillars of Eternity 1 & 2, Star Wars Knight of the Old Republic 2… and my favorite, Alpha Protocol. I’m huge fan of the studio and have played all their games—even the South Park one (I’m not a fan of South Park).
Avowed is my current obsession. I watch videos and read articles to consume as much Avowed content as I can find. My mind, body, and soul (to be dramatic) are ready for the hours I will pour into this game.
Avowed marks a significant step in my content creation journey, extending my reach beyond Twitch streams. Part of my excitement also lies there—in creating something new. What will it do for my growth and content creation dreams? I’m not sure. My only expectation is developing and enhancing my video and audio editing skills. Anything else is a bonus.
I’m fine with that.
But the anticipation is killing me. I need this game now, gosh darn it!
